Because of that we specify adhesives rated for both sweat resistance and heat stability here, and we tell summer clients to keep the scalp itself moisturised - a dehydrated scalp under a dehydrated bond is the main premature-lift complaint we get from April through June, more than oil breakdown.

For a toupee specifically, that usually means starting from a skin (poly) base — clients who part their hair and want the most undetectable scalp look, with a typical lifespan of 4–8 months of daily wear in this climate.
